And now we're introducing Creepers as well as other things.
Creepers
One of the most "delightful" parts of the Minecraft franchise is the Creeper. The bane of many a miner, they are completely silent until they're close enough to explode and all you hear is a fuse before you're thrown back with some serious damage. Especially if you're not armored.
In game they've already done some damage. They were first seen by Craig Boone and Tauriel while they were on patrol, and Charon saw the first fatalities caused by them (as reported by the news). There were also dim sightings during the resort's celebration.
Now an unlucky vampire (as manned by Koko) will have the first direct encounter with them. If anyone wants to plot with her on that you can hit her up on the comments below.
The creepers here are going to look something like this, and be completely undetectable even to the finest ears until they're close enough to do damage. They'll only come out during the night and early morning, and somehow vanish during the afternoon and day. They're always a risk in the tunnels, and will be fairly uncommon above ground.
The people of Quadratus are used to a harsh environment and really weird circumstances, so they're not going to want to leave. A good way to influence the current political debate for further expansion and exploration would be if the current residents came up with a way to keep the immediate village (and spider fence) safe. It can be noted that dogs (and people evolved from dogs) don't like to be around them, even if they can't hear them something puts them off, and cats (and people evolved from cats) will make a creeper turn around and go the opposite direction. The information about dogs is known, and about cats still needs to be discovered (that's open game). It takes three shots with a gun or arrow to kill a creeper, and they deteriorate after death.
Some good in game solutions, maybe more than one, will be implemented into the setting.
More
Now that we've said that, some game settings are going to be expanded on with recent additions (like the drugs and the minor diseases) added for constant plot resource and made into their own pages for easier navigation. The most recent addition is more information on organized crime. We're still open to recommendations for things to include from other fandoms that are represented in both the alternate reality of this world and in the people that have been brought in. Medical supplies, unusual domestic animals, pests, you name it.
ADDITIONAL QUESTION modly type one: Would you rather a space on a group log (we're thinking of putting one up) or posting first on the network to say "WTF Stay away from the woods!!!"
