Hello! This is Rafe, with a new character, Niles Pottinger from Defiance. (Because one can never have too many authoritarian types with British accents from organizations of dubious morality, right?)

Also, as Niles enters, Bertie is leaving. I'll finish up any threads he's currently involved in and then he'll go home to Jeeves. (And then Niles will be my official sociable character.)

I'm going to miss your Bertie; he was a lot of fun! Hopefully we'll get to thread together again, though I think Jade wouldn't trust anyone that even has implications of "organized authorities with dubious moralities".

I hope there'll be opportunities to thread together again, too! (Even if Jade justifiably doesn't trust creepy authority types.)

I do love Bertie but his voice is so hard to maintain. I think this is the longest I've managed to keep him in a game, and I'm always a bit sad to let him go. He's just a tough one for me.

I could tell. Bertie's tags were really well put together and they sound like they took a lot of time to plan out. We'll all miss him, but I understand how difficult it is to write for some muses.
