Important Question: Since it has been difficult for players to post regularly, would it be more helpful to everyone if we switched to a 1:3 day game to life ratio with the calendar / events? With celebrating winter holidays respected for this year, it might be easier for everyone to keep up with events if in game days came slower. But to some people, it's confusing what time of year that it is (though we can reflect that in the calendar weather updates.

Please give us your opinions.

I am one of the slowest taggers ever, so that's fine by me!

I think that a 1:3 ratio is a pretty good idea. Since the game date is already marked on the weather calendar, it makes sense for it to be used to keep track of when the days tick over, too.

Honestly, to me a day ratio is far more confusing and more to keep track of than just backdating things. It's been a little slow, but I don't think it's been all that bad. There's a steady pace at least.

Just give it a little more juice. Something like maybe routine investigations into the ruins with the scientists? I haven't checked to see if that's a thing or not... or maybe something like the town putting up quests to find or bring back resources, especially with the quarantine up.

Right now there's a lot of RL trouble for some of the members, and we pretty much have already been handing out material. So it's a matter of making the game easier for them to keep up with and not having the trouble of "It's been five weeks, why haven't you figured this out yet?!?!" that can ICly pop up in some games.

Personally, I'm favoring it because I've been in a lot of games where it works out really well? And it greatly lessens the time pressure on tagging. It sort of sucks when you have to drop a thread and have to assume out CR or potentially emotional moments, things like that. I could also keep the calendar updated to keep up with what day is what.

Problem is it can get confusing if you just want to assume, "Oh, Easter is this time of year." But we're not using typical Earth holidays anyway.

I have no strong opinions on day ratio either way. (Pros and cons to both, but nothing that I have strong feelings about, so I'm happy to go with whatever everyone else prefers.)

I'm not attached to the 1:1 and special calendar events (Christmas/Halloween) are usually month-long anyway in most games. Whatever's easiest for people.

I am cool either way to be honest. I am in games that do both!

I'd be fine either way, but 1:3 would be a bit easier on my schedule.
