I'm 100% cool with that. I can backtag until the end of time. ♥♥ I love organically growing CR, too. I don't know Walter's canon at all, but based on how excited he was about NEW THINGS!! in his intro post, he'll get along with Elle just fine, LOL. She's not terribly good at science but she's good enough at Medicine and likes animals enough (Animal Friend x2) that she can fake it back sometimes and knows random pieces of information..........
Elle would most definitely try, anyway. Back home, she has her own nest of crazy scientists (they're even brains in jars), after all, and she's responsible for looking out for them........
Even if she can't latch on to what the specifics mean she always tries to understand the ideas behind things, so at least there's that??
I never got that far in Fallout NV, unfortunately. (Yep, I'm a bad FO fan. ;;^_^)). It does remind me of a Lovecraft story where aliens were keeping people's brains in jars.
