[Dogmeat is, in general, pretty good at distinguishing friend from foe, and foe absolutely does not seem so enthusiastic, ever. He lunges, but rather than going for the throat he covers Xion's face in licks, tail thumping happily against the ground. Lily stands back up, laughing.]

Well, looks like they've become friends pretty quick.
